First I asked questions about soil to my students. Then we watched a video about soil formation. Later we observed soil in our hands. Finally we drew soil themed pictures.

We talked about the waste. My students learned not every waste is garbage. We prepared our organic compost. 

What can we do with soil?  
Let's mix the soil and water. Play with your mud and try pottery. Let them dry and finally paint.
