Hediye Sezin Aykurt - Girmeler Primary School - Turkey - What's In The Ecosystem?

First I asked some questions about living and non living things to my students. We watched a video about ecosystem. Secondly we did an activity giving examples to food chain. Finally we played a game about ecosytem.
Game is the best way to understand the relationships between living and non living things in an ecosystem.
To play this game we need a rope and have students form a big circle.
Find the words related to the ecosystem.
What's in the ecosystem? Let's prepare a food chain to show the relations between producers, primary, secondary and tertiary consumersin an ecosystem.
My students read a book titled "Our Web Of Life Ecosystems" They both had fun and learnt more about ecosystem.
First we read the book "Our Web Of Life", then we read another book titled "Protecting Forests" to understand how we could save ecosystems on our earth.
